IV Therapy Melbourne
Personalised IV Therapy in Melbourne
At Sanara Wellness, we provide a personalised and clinically considered approach to IV therapy in Melbourne, with appointments available from our Port Melbourne clinic and through our mobile service across Melbourne.

Our approach begins with the individual — not a one-size-fits-all treatment menu.

Before treatment, we take the time to understand your health history, current concerns, lifestyle and individual goals. Treatment options are considered following appropriate consultation and clinical assessment, with suitability determined on an individual basis.

Whether you choose to visit our Port Melbourne clinic or prefer the convenience and privacy of an appointment at home, our aim is to provide a professional, comfortable and highly personalised experience from beginning to end.
What is IV Therapy?
Intravenous (IV) Therapy is a method of administering fluids, and other appropriate prescribed substances directly into the blood stream through an intravenous cannula.

Unlike oral administration, it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, usually allowing for much high absorption.

Each client requires a consultation to determine suitability for IV Therapy based on their individual circumstances, health history and needs.

At Sanara Wellness, we take a consultation-led approach in which your individual circumstances will be discussed alongside treatment options for you.

One of our trained medical professionals will conduct a consultation to learn your healthy history, and your reasons for seeking IV Therapy.
Your suitability for treatment will be assessed individually.Â
You will complete our consent form, as well as our scripting form if you are a new client. This script is valid for 12 months and the cost is $50.

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a co-enzyme found in every one of your cells. It is a derrivative of vitamin B3. NAD+ is responsible for how well your body can repair itself. You are born with all of your NAD+ and every 20 years, it declines by 50% - meaning that by 40 years old, you only have 25% left of what you started with. Different lifestyle factors can also cause your NAD+ to be depleted faster.

NAD+ plays a key role in energy production as it helps your cells to turn food into useable energy. It also is helps your body to clear dysfunctional cells, repair DNA of cells & protect healthy cells. Important for overall cellular regulation including healthy ageing.

At Sanara Wellness, we offer 2 different NAD+ therapy options. We offer intravenous (IV) NAD+, as well as our NAD+ at home program which involves the client administering NAD+ to themselves as per a prescription.
It is important to have a consultation with our nurse to determine if NAD+ therapy may be right for you as each person is individual. Within this consultation, you can further discuss your treatment goals and come to a decision on which kind of NAD+ therapy would be the best choice for you.
EDTA chelation therapy is the treatment for toxic metal build up in the body. Unfortunately with the lives we live, we are often exposed to large amounts of toxic metals, with some lifestyle factors pre-disposing us to even higher levels of these metals. Toxic metals generally stay in the blood stream for 2-3 weeks before beginning to embed themselves into your tissues - so this can make it difficult to diagnose metal toxicity through a blood test.

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is a chelating agent that we administer via the intravenous (IV) route to work as almost a binder to these metals, to then be excreted in the urine.Â
