IV drips in Melbourne
Personalised IV therapy at our clinic or in your home across greater Melbourne.
At Sanara Wellness, we start by understanding your health history, questions and goals.
Â
Following a consultation and individual assessment, we discuss whether IV therapy could be appropriate for you.
Every infusion is administered by an AHPRA-registered nurse, with compounds prescribed by an Australian registered doctor.
Â
Visit our Port Melbourne clinic or ask about a mobile appointment at your home, workplace or accommodation.
What is IV therapy?

Intravenous therapy, often called an IV drip, delivers fluids and prescribed substances directly into the bloodstream through a small tube called a cannula.

Your treatment options are discussed after a consultation and clinical assessment.
Â
IV therapy is subject to individual asessment and suitability.
Your IV Therapy appointment
One of our trained medical professionals will conduct a consultation to learn your healthy history, and your reasons for seeking IV Therapy.
Your suitability for treatment will be assessed individually.Â
You will complete our consent form, as well as our scripting form if you are a new client. This script is valid for 12 months and the cost is $50.
We will work with you to look at your health history, goals and potential treatment options. We will come up with a plan on how you would like to move forward.
We will insert an intravenous cannula if you are having an IV drip, and begin the treatment while you relax either in our clinic or in your chosen mobile location. Our team will be with you the entire time to check in and monitor you and the treatment.
Once you become our client, we will spend time checking in on you and providing further advice as needed.
Where appropriate, we will continue supporting you on your treatment journey, and provide any updates or changes to your treatment plan according to your progress and circumstances over time.

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a co-enzyme found in every one of your cells. It is a derrivative of vitamin B3. NAD+ is responsible for how well your body can repair itself.Â

NAD+ plays a key role in energy production as it helps your cells to turn food into useable energy. It also is helps your body to clear dysfunctional cells, repair DNA of cells & protect healthy cells. Important for overall cellular regulation including healthy ageing.

At Sanara Wellness, we offer 2 different NAD+ therapy options. We offer intravenous (IV) NAD+, as well as our NAD+ at home program which involves the client administering NAD+ to themselves as per a prescription.
It is important to have a consultation with our nurse to determine if NAD+ therapy may be right for you as each person is individual. Within this consultation, you can further discuss your treatment goals and come to a decision on which kind of NAD+ therapy would be the best choice for you.
EDTA chelation therapy is the treatment for toxic metal build up in the body. Unfortunately with the lives we live, we are often exposed to large amounts of toxic metals, with some lifestyle factors pre-disposing us to even higher levels of these metals. Toxic metals generally stay in the blood stream for 2-3 weeks before beginning to embed themselves into your tissues - so this can make it difficult to diagnose metal toxicity through a blood test.

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is a chelating agent that we administer via the intravenous (IV) route to work as almost a binder to these metals, to then be excreted in the urine.Â
Can I choose what goes into my IV drip?
Yes, within what is clinically appropriate.
Â
After your assessment we talk through every option and you decide with us.
Â
We prefer personalised drips because clients do better on them, but we also have a set menu for clients who want something simple.

There may be a small, quick sting when the cannula goes in. We can apply numbing cream first, and the rest of the appointment is comfortable.
Wear a top with sleeves that roll up. Drink water beforehand if you can, but do not worry if you are dehydrated; our nurses are experienced at finding veins.
