Intravenous therapy or IV therapy is when a small tube called a cannula is put into your vein. Through this tube, we can administer compounds directly into your blood stream. This ensures that the highest amount of absorption takes place, as opposed to oral supplementation which can have absorption rates as low as 20%.We can administer different micronutrients, macronutrients, co-enzymes and antioxidants this way.

Great question! Our nurses are experienced and will take all possible steps to ensure you are feeling comfortable throughout your appointment. We may begin the appointment by applying some numbing cream to areas that we might place the cannula. When our nurses are inserting the cannula, there may be a very small quick sting as the needle goes in but it is over very quickly. The numbing cream also helps to reduce this a lot.Once this is over, the rest of the appointment should be comfortable and you can relax for the duration. We will check in with you plenty of times as well.

At the beginning of the appointment, we will start by completing a health assessment to ensure clinical suitability for our treatments.We will then go on to discuss your health and goals, and we will come up with a plan for you for this treatment +/- any ongoing support.You will complete two forms - a consent form and a scripting document for our doctor.Once these are completed, our nurses can get started with the treatment. We ensure you are in a comfy position and insert the cannula and connect the IV line to it and begin the infusion.General IV infusions take around 1 hour. Your clinician will let you know how long an appointment may take at the time of booking confirmation.You finish enjoying your treatment and we will remove the cannula from your arm and pop on a small bandaid.You are able to continue on with your day. We will give you personalised aftercare advice, and will be available for ongoing support via phone and email.

Yes! IV therapy is safe when it is administered by registered health professionals with substantial training.All compounds used should be medical grade and compounded by pharmacies here in Australia. A thorough health assessment should be taken to ensure safety and clinical suitability. Please ensure you share any underlying medical conditions with our team during the consultation.Mild side effects such as a small bruise where the cannula was can sometimes occur, but serious adverse reactions are very rare.

Please book a phone consult with our nurse to complete a pre-screening and health discussion. From here, our nurse will organise to book you in with the specialist doctor to discuss your current concerns. Any peptides prescribed to you during this appointment will then be compounded by an Australian pharmacy and delivered directly to you with clear instructions on how they are to be used.Our team will be here to support you during the journey.

Please wear a shirt that you are able to roll the sleeves up on, or a short sleeve so we can access your veins. In clinic, we offer cozy electric recliners with pillows and blankets. If we are visiting you for a mobile appointment, please make sure each person has somewhere comfy to sit while their IV drip is running.Staying hydrated prior to your appointment where possible can be helpful, but if you are dehydrated - don't stress. We have lots of tips and tricks to find veins!

Yes! Each new client requires a script to access our compounds. The cost is $50 and the script remains valid for 12 months. Our team will help you through this process.

We try to offer same day bookings as much as we can, but it is not always possible if our nurses are already booked out for the day. We recommend booking 24-48 hours in advance to avoid missing out.

Yes! Of course. We usually recommend getting in touch if you would like to book for a group, as we can best access to our availability. We can accomodate up to 3 people in our clinic space, for groups larger than this - we would travel to you.

This is dependent on the type of IV drip we are doing, but in general, they usually take 45mins - 1 hour to complete the process.

Treatment options are determined after we complete a consultation and assessment. We will then discuss with you all of your options, and empower you to make a decision on what you would like to move forward with. We are big advocates for educating and supporting our clients to take charge of their own health - as long as it is deemed clinically appropriate. We work very collaboratively with you.We are also advocates for personalising IV drips to the individual, rather than a generic menu as we find the clients do much better with this, but we do have a menu available for those clients who don't want to personalise their IV drip.
